#2 Harry Potter magic

For a Harry Potter themed living room with hanging decorations, you can put this look together with floating flameless candles that flicker, Hogwarts envelope banners and hanging magical keys. Be sure to pick up AAA batteries for the hanging candles.

Oh and the broom parking sign with brooms also adds to the magic.

Channel a scary spider vibe with stretchy fiber spider webs that come with small plastic spiders. Oh and attach these large plushie spiders to the ceiling or the top corners of the room for extra nightmares.

To bring in a little color, these mini spider lights with little flameless candles on them introduce some amber tones.

#5 Dark witchy vibe

For a maximalist witchy look, you can go all out with these gothic posters along with crow and cage cutouts. Turn the scare up with 3D creepy hands wall decor that come with LED lights. Witchy window clings are perfect here if the space is close to a window.

Black dark curtains and pillow covers sure can add to the goth look along with these witchy hats that make sense on the coffee table.

#6 Cutesy spooky ghosts

If you prefer keeping it cute for the kids, have fun using adorable ghost decorations. There are tons of DIY crafts you can do with them. You can make mini hanging ghosts with toilet paper, thread and a black marker. Or use different colored paper to make ghost, pumpkin and bat garlands.

If new, messy DIY projects are a nightmare of their own, consider setting up some large, light-up cute ghosts, smaller ghosts, and ghostly garlands. Make the space more fun and interactive with simple wooden figurines, emotional support plushies and crochet toys.

I feel like some soft, textured ghost pillow covers and crepe paper streamers can pull everything together.

It’ll be beyond adorable.

Corridor Halloween decor ideas

#8 Gothic alley

Create an eerie gothic corridor with these amazing vintage photos. Leave them unframed or pop them into picture frames you already have. Add some bat stickers and fiber webs with plastic spiders to the ceiling and walls.

With a color changing bulb, you can choose different lighting for the corridor. Purple, green, amber, and dim white light are all great options.

#9 Pumpkin lane

Play up pumpkins with this set up. Use fairy lights and jack o lantern string lights on the ceiling. Stick LED pumpkin candles at different heights on the wall. And, add real pumpkins on the ground, next to and even blocking the doors. The soft amber glow isn’t too scary!

#10 Skeletal corridor

For a simple look that requires just three or four elements, this one still has great spooky impact. You can hang black gauze and a couple plastic skeletons from the ceiling and use a color changing bulb to create a spooky ambience. Green is a great one but purple would be fun too.

If you have a wall or doorway at the end of the corridor, use a unique tapestry to create a focal point for the scene. I really like this tarot card one.
